Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-01-10

This Privacy Policy explains how AITaana (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our web app, developer API, and related services (the “Service”).

1. Who we are (data controller)

The Service is operated by Euclidev with a registered address at Algiers, Algeria (“AITaana”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

If you have questions, or want to exercise privacy rights, contact: privacy@aitaana.com (or support@aitaana.com).

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: email address, authentication data, and optional profile information.
  • Usage/technical data: logs and device data (for example IP address, timestamps, request metadata, user agent) for security, performance, and debugging.
  • Content: messages, prompts, files, and workspace content you submit to the Service.
  • Payments: payment confirmation/metadata we receive from payment providers (we generally do not store full card details).

Please avoid submitting sensitive personal data in prompts/files unless necessary (for example, government IDs, account numbers, or health data).

3. How we use information (purposes)

  • Provide the Service: create accounts, authenticate, deliver features, and process requests.
  • Security and abuse prevention: detect fraud, protect accounts, and secure infrastructure.
  • Support and communications: respond to requests and send service/transactional messages.
  • Improve and maintain: debug issues, measure performance, and improve reliability/UX.
  • Compliance: comply with legal obligations and enforce policies/terms.

4. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK-style disclosure)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR (or similar laws) apply, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases depending on the context:

  • Contract: to provide the Service you request (account, API access, features, billing).
  • Legitimate interests: to secure, maintain, and improve the Service (anti-abuse, analytics on essential logs, debugging).
  • Consent: for optional analytics cookies (where used) and other optional features.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with applicable laws, tax/accounting, and lawful requests.

5. AI content use (training, providers, and human review)

We process the content you submit (messages, prompts, files, and workspace content) to provide the Service (for example, to generate outputs, maintain conversation/workspace history where enabled, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues).

We do not use your content to train public models unless you explicitly opt in (if such an option is offered).

To provide the Service, we may use third-party infrastructure providers (including AI model providers) as service providers/processors under contract. Your content may be transmitted to them for the limited purpose of generating outputs and operating the Service.

Limited human review may occur for safety, fraud prevention, support requests, and debugging, subject to access controls.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data and content only as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and account settings.

  • Account data: retained while your account is active and as needed thereafter for compliance and dispute resolution.
  • Content: retained according to your settings and feature behavior; you may request deletion where applicable.
  • Logs/security data: retained for a limited period to secure and operate the Service (criteria-based).
  • Billing records: retained as required by tax/accounting laws.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

See our Cookie Policy.

8. How we share information

We share personal data only as needed to operate the Service, and typically with service providers acting as processors/service providers under contract. Categories may include:

  • Cloud hosting and storage
  • AI infrastructure/model providers (to generate outputs)
  • Payments and fraud prevention
  • Error monitoring and logging
  • Email/support tooling
  • Analytics providers (only if you consent, where enabled)

We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service.

9. International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live (for example, where we or our service providers operate). Where required, we use safeguards for cross-border transfers (such as contractual protections like Standard Contractual Clauses, and additional measures as appropriate).

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion/erasure, portability, restriction, or to object to processing. Where we rely on consent (for example optional analytics cookies), you can withdraw consent at any time.

11. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to mitigate risks.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example by email or in-app notice).
